Slovakia, Republic. A Great War Cross 1914-1918, VI Class
(Križ svetovej vojny). In silvered bronze with black enamels, measuring 44.8 mm (w) x 44.8 mm (h), cross and crossed swords clasp in silvered bronze with black enamels affixed to its original one stripe ribbon with pinback, intact enamels, very light contact, soiling evident on the ribbon, near extremely fine.
The original name of the WWI Cross is "Križ svetovej vojny".
The cross was awarded in six classes. The classes I - III are made out of gilted bronze and the classes IV - VI are silver-plated bronze.
The decorations differ in that they have different amount of number of stripes on the ribbon:
I + IV Class: 3 black stripes on the ribbon
II + V Class: 2 black stripes on the ribbon
III + VI Class: 1 black stripes on the ribbon
