Of high rarity, consisting of a silver gilt large multi faceted star with eight points, with green enameled rays, separately affixed centre applique with gilt background and blue enamel detailing, reverse with horizontal pin maker marked ""K"" denoting manufacture by the national mint at Kremnica, marked ""987"", measuring 89x89mm, a worn example, extremely fine.
This Order is the highest Slovakian Order and it was awarded to high-ranking officers or officials.
There are two versions of this Order, a Civil division and a Military division, but the only difference between these two versions is the addition of swords to the Military division. The addition of a Military division was authorized on November 4, 1942.
Pribina was a Slavic prince during the 9th century. He was the first Slavic ruler to build Christian churches and he ruled over Lower Pannonia.
