In bronze gilt with a red enameled double cross containing leaf detailing, suspension also in bronze gilt with red, white and blue enamels, measuring 35x74mm (inclusive of eagle suspension), a worn cross without sash, that stands in near extremely fine condition.
This Order is awarded to officers for "distinguished leadership on the battlefield".
The Order was conferred upon Slovakian military personnel in recognition of a minimum of 4 years of service by the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Slovak Republic on March 14, 1944.
3,769 awards of all classes were manufactured, but less then 600 of them were awarded.
