Physical Description and Item Details


Silver with light blue enamels, marked "800" (silver) on the reverse, 37x43mm, original ribbon, intact enamels, slight discolouration evident in the silver where it butts the enamels, scuffs and contact marks, better than very fine.

History


The Cross was conferred upon young Italian members of the Opera Nazionale Balilla (OBN), the Italian Fascist Youth Organization.

These crosses were awarded to different youth categories, including young men, young women, kids, and girls.

The Cross for Girls was awarded to young girls between the ages of 6-13 and features light blue enamel on the obverse.
