A circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bears the portrait of Don Alfonso Carlos in a military uniform, the reverse bears the coat of arms of Spain.
The Carlist Don Alfonso Carlos Medal was minted around 1931 for the transfer of rights from Jaime III to Don Alfonso Carlos.
On October 2, 1931, at the age of 82, Alfonso Carlos succeeded Jaime, Duke of Madrid as Carlist claimant to the throne of Spain and Legitimist claimant to the throne of France.
