A circular bronze medal, the obverse bears the side portrait of Carlos VII, encompassed by a border with the inscription CUENCE POR CARLOS VII, the reverse bears the inscription 17 DE JULIO DE 1874 EJERCITO REAL DEL CENTRO within a laurel wreath, on a dark blue ribbon.

History


This is a very rare medal. The Medal for Cuenca was given in commemoration of the seizure of Cuenca during the Third Carlist War.
