History


The Medal for Pamplona was instituted in Spain by the regency of Baldomero Espartero in recognition of the troops who participated in the suppression of the uprising of Pamplona on October 1 and 2, 1841.

The Medal features an obverse inscription that translates "To the Defenders of Pamplona," and a reverse inscription that stands "October 1841."
