History


The Cross of Bubierca was instituted in Spain by royal decree on May 30, 1816. It was awarded to Spanish forces that participated in the Battle of Bubierca on November 29, 1808.

The Cross features an obverse inscription that translates to "At Bubierca on November 29, 1808," and it has a plain reverse.
