History

The Order for Military Constancy (Orden a la Constancia Militar) was established by the Spanish government on December 26, 1958, and approved by Juan Carlos I in 2002. The Order Regulations were later modified in 2011.

It is awarded to Spanish Armed Forces and Civil Guard, for long and irreproachable service by non-commissioned officers.

It may be presented in three grades, depending on time of service: Gold Cross for 30 years of meritorious service, Silver Cross for 25 years of meritorious service, and Bronze Cross for 15 years of meritorious service.
