History


This medal was founded by Emperor Franz I to reward individuals, who were unable to recitative the Austrian Orders, for honourable service and achievements.

The Type II medal dies were cut by Heuberger F., and they feature a senior right facing portrait of Emperor Franz I on the obverse.
