This Order was founded by Empress Eleonora Gonzaga, and it was conferred upon noble ladies who distinguished themselves by living a pious and virtuous life.

The maximum number of Order members was 30, excepting princesses.

The Order was discontinued after the death of Empress Eleonora Magdalena in 1720.

The decoration was worn on a gold chain on the left arm.
