History

Established by King Christian IX, this medal was never awarded but, was intended to recognize valour in the war.

The Silver Medal was intended to be conferred upon men and officers for brave actions.

This medal may consist of associated clasps on the ribbon that read "DYBBOL", "MYSUNDE", "SANKELMARK" or "VEJLE".
