The Medal of Honour for Public Works is awarded for 30 years of service, or in exceptional cases, for acts of bravery during service.
There are two versions of this medal which differ in engraving. The first version has an obverse inscription that translates to “French Republic, Ministry of Public Works,” and a reverse inscription that translates to Honour, Labour, Devotion.” The second version has identical inscriptions, except for the absence of “Devotion” on the reverse.
