This Medal was issued by the Union des Femmes de France (UFF) to all members who rendered service in World War I.

There are two versions of the Medal that vary in shape, engraving, and inscription. The first version was awarded to nurses, and the second was awarded to administrators.

The obverse inscription for the Medal awarded to nurses translates to "Honour and Devotion."
