Physical Description


A Bath cross constructed of silver. The obverse center bears a circular medallion with the crowned cipher of King Ludwig II (L II). The reverse bears a circular medallion with the inscription "XX" (20). With a loop for suspension on a light blue ribbon with white stripes.

History


The Reserve Infantry Long Service Decorations were instituted on January 21, 1876 by King Ludwig II and it was awarded to Officers and Medical Officers of reserve status who willingly accepted a 20 year service time and actively demonstrated a keen interest in their duties.
