Physical Description


A rectangular bar constructed of silver gilt on a red and yellow striped ribbon bar. The bar features a central ovular field with a horse in the centre, topped with a crown. There are oak and laurel leaves on each side of the ovular centre. The bar is inscribed with "40 JAHRE TREUE DIENSTE" (40 years of loyal service).

History


The Long Service to the Court Bar was founded on September 21, 1903 by Duke Ernst August. It was conferred upon court servants who had performed 40 years of loyal service.
