The Domestic Servant Long Service Cross was founded by Prince Georg and was conferred upon individuals who served the state, court, or community in some capacity for a period of at least 50 years. Eligible recipients included: domestic servants, court servants, court officials, state officials, church officials, preachers, school teachers, as well as municipal and regional officials.
