History

The Prince Adolf Medal was founded by Prince Adolf and was conferred in recognition of outstanding achievements in the areas of art, science, and social welfare which positively impacted society in Lippe-Schaumburg. Achievements recognized by this medal did not qualify the recipient to receive the Princely House Order or the Order of Arts and Sciences.

The medal was awarded to three recipients.
