History

The Military Association Confederation Medal was instituted on July 11, 1920.

The original name of the Medal I Class is "Ehrenzeichen 1. Klasse für 50 Jahre des Sächsischen-Militär-Vereins-Bundes".

The arms of the cross curve wider towards the outside and the corners are bevelled. The obverse is constructed of green enamels bordered by gilded edges. The centre of the medal presents the association’s insignia. On the 12 o’clock arm is the gilded number "50" in an open wreath of two oak leaves crossed below.

The reverse is stamped with the maker mark.
