History

The Naval HJ Leader Service Cap was worn by the Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) within the Naval Hitler Youth.

The NCOs wore a Service Cap in the form of a navy blue visor cap with black leather visor and black leather chin-strap. Also featured on the cap is a gold-coloured wreath, either made from metal or embroidered, the enamelled HJ diamond, and an aluminum HJ leader national emblem.

The Officer ranks wore the same hat as the Non-Commissioned Officers, but their caps feature a gold-coloured chin cord, and the wreath of the national emblem was not allowed to overlap the band wreath.

During the summer months, a white version of these caps could be worn by the Naval Hitler Youth members.
