The 21th ‘Skanderbeg’ Division was a Muslim formation raised in April of 1944 that recruited members from the Albanian fascist movement.
Foreign SS volunteers were not permitted to wear SS runes and instead, they were issued collar tabs that were unique to their division.
The division’s collar tab features a Skanderbeg helmet with a goat crest. Despite the fact the collar tab was produced, there is no evidence to suggest that it was ever worn.
