History

The Medal of Merit for Blood Donation was established by Grand Duke Jean by Grand Ducal Decree on October 22, 1979. The Bronze Medal features a reverse inscription that translates to "Your Royal Highness Josephine Charlotte, Grand Duchess of Luxembourg."
