History


The Medal of Gratitude of the Monegasque Red Cross was established by Ordinance on October 16, 1950. It is awarded to individuals in recognition of exceptional service, both nationally and internationally, to the Monegasque Red Cross.

The I Class Medal features an obverse inscription that translates to "Rainier III, Prince of Monaco," and a reverse inscription that translates to "Gratitude, Monegasque Red Cross." It is also awarded with a clasp that bears the year in which it was awarded.
