The Medal for Bravery and Loyalty in Guinea was established by Royal Cabinet decision in 1870. It was awarded to native Guineans in recognition of bravery and loyalty on the expedition to the Guinea coast in 1869-1870.

The Bronze Medal features an obverse inscription that translates to "Bravery and Loyalty 1869-1870." A total of 7 were awarded.
