The Delhi Durbar Medal 1903 was instituted in 1903 to commemorate the Durbar of the King Emporer at Delhi on January 1, 1903. The Medal was awarded in Gold to rulers of Indian princely states and in Silver to other dignitaries, government officials, and to Officers and other ranks of armed services who participated in the celebrations.

The Medal features a reverse inscription in Farsi that translates to "By Grade of the Lord of the Realm, Edward, King, Emperor of India, 1901."
