History

The Visit of the Prince of Wales to Bombay Medal 1921 was instituted to commemorate the royal visit of the Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII) to Bombay in 1921. It is believed that the Bronze Medal was presented to military and civil dignitaries who participated in the tour, as well as to schoolchildren. However, more research is needed on the criteria of the award.
