The Visit to Ireland Medal was issued in commemoration of King Edward VII's visit to Ireland in July 1903. Recipients included Officers of the Dublin Metropolitan Police and the Royal Irish Constabulary who maintained peace and security during the visit. Approximately 7757 Bronze Medals were awarded.
