History

Prior to 1933, many non-official and homemade varieties of flags for the German Youngsters (Deutsches Jungvolk = DJ) were in use, due to a lack of official regulations.
On September 1, 1934, flags for Jungbanne, Fähnlein, and Jungenschaften were officially introduced.

This fanfare flag is square shaped and shows a white Siegrune on black. It has silver-coloured fringe on three sides. In that, it is identical to the flag of the Jungvolk Musician Platoon, however, the reverse of each Jungbann's flag will look different, as the Jungbann members were allowed to use an individual and unique design.
