History


HJ Leaders from the rank of Bannführer and upwards had their own car pennants. Adjutants of these Leaders or certain Staff members were also allowed to use these pennants when on official business.

The pennant of a Gebiet (district) Leader is a yellow square with a black border. It shows a black eagle holding an HJ diamond. Above is the word “Gebiet” and the Gebiet number, and below the Gebiet name, all in black Gothic letter.
