History

The warm-up sweater of the Hitler Youth was introduced in a regulation from October 7, 1933. This sweater was worn by male members of the HJ while they were getting ready to participate in exercising and sports events. It is unknown if the female HJ members also wore this sweater or a different one.

It was a grey knit sweater with a fall-down collar and a zipper. The collar featured a double white and grey stripe with a wide black stripe below that.
