History

In the spring of 1940, a standardised uniform for female SS staff was introduced. Female personnel were issued a grey tunic and skirt, a blouse, a cap, two pairs of boots, socks, and a pair of regular shoes. The uniforms were to be worn without personal accessories, such as jewellery.
