Two-piece construction, silvered silver helmet with black enamelled lettering, on a silvered silver and black enamelled base, engraved "III B 304 / 20. 9. 25." (September 20, 1925), marked "A" with the "STH" (Stahlhelm) insignia and "GES. GESCH." (Gesetzlich Geschützt) on the reverse, 30.5 mm, intact enamels, scattered silvering wear evident on the helmet, near extremely fine.
The Badge features dates from 1918 to 1932 on the obverse. The 1918 version was awarded only 17 times.
