Bronze grade, in zinc, numbered 0042, measures 37x36mm, in very fine condition. Very scarce award.
The N.S.F.K. (National Socialist Flying Corps) founded aero-modelling groups in both the Hitler Youth and Jungvolk as a means to foster an interest in aeronautics. The Badge was awarded to members of the organisations who successfully made and flew model aircraft.
The Type II badges are composed of metal.
