Technische Nothilfe (TeNo) Year Band (or cufftitle) is constructed of black rayon, centering machine embroidered “1920” and laurel leaves in gilded flat wires; it measure 350mm (or 14 inches) in total length, measures 23mm in width, slightly worn example, tunic removed, in very fine condition.

History


The Cuff Title was founded in 1936 by the leader of the Technical Emergency Service (TeNo), Police General Weinrich.

The insignia was awarded to long serving members of TeNo who had joined the organisation between the years 1919 and 1925.

The Technical Emergency Service Honour Badge fell into disuse following the institution of the Cuff Title.
