Lady's Merit Cross, I Class
Estimated market value:
The Cross was founded by Duke Johann Albrecht of Mecklenburg, who was acting as regent of Brunswick at the time.
The cross was conferred upon women who selflessly dedicated themselves to charity work.
This was a short lived award as it was discontinued in 1918.
The I Class Cross was conferred upon women who had held the II Class Cross for at least 10 years.
