The Long Service Bar for NCOs and Enlisted Men for 10 Years was established by Duke Wilhelm of Brunswick in 1836. The bar was conferred upon Non-Commissioned Officers and enlisted men who rendered 10 years of active military service. It was discontinued in 1879.
