History

The King Hamad Order for Development was established by King Hamad II on April 17, 2008. The Order is awarded in 3 Classes in recognition of service provided towards the development of the nation. The award may also be known as the King Hamad Order of the Renaissance. There may also be 2 additional classes associated with the Order, but more information is necessary.

The III Class is awarded to personnel who have helped develop Bahrain's women's and human rights.
