The Silver Jubilee Medal (Midalat al-Lwabil al-Fazi) was instituted by King Hussein on August 11, 1977, in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the King's accession to the throne. Personal and meritorious services to the sovereign are eligible for the award of the Medal. The Medal may also be known as the King Hussein 25th Anniversary Medal.
The Silver Medal features Arabic script on the obverse which translates to "Day of Accession to the Throne the 25th Anniversary" and on the reverse which translates to "1952-1977."
