A gilt five-pointed star, with red enamel beams between each point, the obverse center bears a cedar tree in green enamel, the reverse bears the Arabic inscription LEBANESE REPUBLIC/ AGRICULTURAL MERIT, with a bar suspension, on a green and yellow striped ribbon, measuring 40mm in diameter.

History


The Medal of Agricultural Merit was instituted by Government Law on December 15, 1959. The Medal is awarded in 3 Grades in recognition of eminent services which benefit Lebanese agriculture.

The I Class is in gilt.
The II Class is in silvered metal.
The III Class is in bronze.
