History

This medal was instituted in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the development of parish schools within the Russian Empire. It was conferred upon administrative, clerical, and medical staff who, during a period of at least a decade, made several achievements at their local parish school.

The obverse translates to: "Emperor Alexander III Emperor Nicholas II". The reverse is dated: "1884-1909".
