This medal established during the reign of Alexander I in commemoration of the storming of the Turkish city of Bazargik.

The silver medal was conferred upon non-commissioned officers and enlisted men.

The obverse inscription translates to: "Alexander I Emperor of All Russias". The reverse inscription translates to: "For Distinction in the Storming of Bazargik 22 May 1810".
