History

This medal was established in commemoration of the successful completion of the work needed to begin the agrarian reforms in Poland. It was awarded to authorities in Russia and Poland who made a significant impact in the implementation of the agrarian reforms.

The obverse inscription translates to: "26 May/7 June 1864" and "19 February/ 2 March 1864". The reverse inscription translates to: "For Endeavours for the Agrarian Reform in the Kingdom of Poland".
