History

This decoration is conferred upon members of the Strategic Rocket Forces for excellent performance of military and combat duties. Recipients must have served in the Strategic Rocket Forces for 10 years, or have served in the Strategic Rocket Forces for at least 15 years or more following the awarding of the Chief Marshal of Artillery Nedelin.

This is a decoration of the Ministry of Defence.
