The Decoration for Excellent Services (Nishan-e-Khidmaat Husna) was instituted by Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbassi IV in 1883. The Medal is presented in 3 Classes to state employees to recognize distinguished and meritorious service provided in the fields of military, police or other civil services. The Decoration was first amended by Nawab Bahawal Khan V Abbassi in 1904, and again by Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V Abbasi in 1936.

The II Class is composed of Silver.

A Persian script which translates to "By the Grace of God Sadiq Mohammed Abbasi V Ruler of God Gifted Kingdom of Bahawalpur" is featured on the obverse and the inscription "Khidmaat Husna" (Excellent Services) is featured on the reverse.
