History

The Gold Jubilee Medal (Tamgha-e-Jashan Ahad Hukumat Panjah) was instituted by Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan V Abbasi in 1955 to commemorate 50 years of his accession to the throne. Interestingly, the award was struck 10 years after Bahawalpur's succession to Pakistan. The Medal is awarded in 3 Classes.

The II Class is composed of Bronze.

The obverse features an Urdu inscription which translates to "By the Grace of God Sadiq Mohammed Abbasi V Ruler of God Gifted Kingdom of Bahawalpur", while the reverse features an Urdu inscription which translates to "Celebration 50 Years Reign 1325-1375 Hijri."
