History

The Most Eminent Brijendra Order of the Bharatpur State was founded by Maharaja Kishan Singhji in October 1925. The Order is believed to be conferred in 4 Classes to Bharatpur State Force Officers. However, the structure of the Order is highly complicated, and due to contradicting information, the research presented here may be subject to error.

The II Class Decoration is worn from a neck ribbon.

Recipients of the II Class Decoration are entitled to the honourary title "Niya Dhish Prabandh Karta", "Samar Bhushan Deo", or "VIR SHROMANI."

The obverse features the Sanskrit inscription "PRAJA BALAM RAJYA BALAM PARSBASTATY" which translates to "Power of the People is the Power of the King and that is Supreme."

The Decoration also features an engraving of the recipient's name and title they are bestowed with on the reverse.
