The obverse Devanagari inscription translates to "King Shahji II" and "The King of Hindus". The reverse Devanagari inscription translates to "Kingdom of Karvir", "Victory of Bhawani", and "Jyestha Shukla 13 Raja Saka 274 [1948 A.D.]".
