This medal was established by Maharaja Yadavindra Singh in commemoration of his coronation in 1938.

The obverse Gurmukhi inscription translates to "King of Kings, His Highness Yadavindra Singh Mohinder Bahadur". The reverse Gurmukhi inscription translates to "Coronation 6/7 April 1938 A.D.".
