Hardshelled case of issue, the case with a balsa wood frame, black lacquer finish, marked on the lid, the inside of the lid lined in purple satin and padded, raised platform with recessed purple velvet medal bed.

History


This Order was established by Emperor Kang Teh of Manchuria. It is considered the exact equivalent to the Japanese Order of the Rising Sun.

The II Class Grand Officer badge is the same as the III Class Commander badge.

This Order is also known as the Order of the Prosperous Cloud.

The reverse Japanese characters translate to "Order of Merit Decoration".
