Physical Description and Item Details


In silver with red, blue, white, black and yellow enamels, Japanese Mint issued, intact enamels, dark patina, replacement incorrect ribbon.

History


This Order was established by Emperor Kang Teh of Manchuria. It is considered similar to the Japanese Order of the Sacred Treasure (see JPN104).

This is the only Order in existence that uses clasps to distinguish the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th classes. The VIII Class Badge has 1 silver clasp measuring 37x6mm attached to the ribbon

The reverse features Japanese characters.
